REDWOOD COAST BREWERS ASSOCIATION
This is Gilbert Lima's system. Gilbert custom plumbed the sink on the left for his brewery in his garage.
This is the false bottom in the mast tun. The outlet plumbing goes down through the center of the perf stainless and siphons out all the liquid into the boil kettle
Gilbert's boil kettle has a piece of copper tubing with holes drilled in it to filter out the whole hops. Notice the open space in the center were the trub can be settled with a whirlpool created by spinning the boiling wort with a large stainless spoon.
Gilbert uses a Valley mill and the milled grain goes into a bucket inside a closed cabinet - a nice feature to keep the inevitable grain dust from going all over the garage.
Gilbert uses 15 gallon plastic malt extract drums for ferminters
